Predator Management for Biodiversity Workshop
We will have a couple of local predator control experts teaching us how to most effectively and efficiently control predators around our properties, and ALSO a local vet will be joining us to expand on the implications of feral cats transmitting toxo.

About the event
"How lucky are we to have such beautiful native birds in New Zealand?!
New Zealand is home to 168 species of native birds, 93 of which are endemic to this country, making them particularly special. But why are 80% of our native birds in trouble with declining numbers?
Answer: Feral cats, possums, rats and stoats.
And another question, what is the key link in the lifecycle of toxoplasmosis (toxo)?
Answer: Feral cats..
This workshop is going to be packed with useful info!

When: Thursday 4th April, 3pm - 5pm
Where: Waiwhare Community Centre - 27 River Road, Waiwhare - we will be opening the bar after the meeting, so stick around and have a drink!
