About the event
Bruno Chambers, trustee of Te Mata Park and great grandson Thomas Mason Chambers is speaking about the history of the Park and shows us their extensive native revegetation planting. We will have lunch in the grove of 223 stunning California redwoods, planted in 1926.
Meet at the Te Mata Park main gates carpark
Registration from 9.30am with the field day commencing at 10am
What to bring:
an offroad 4WD vehicle if possible
suitable clothing and footwear
