Your idea turned into a project, boosted with up to $15k of funding
The purpose is to give farmers and growers an opportunity to get together to:

tackle issues of common interest

test drive innovative solutions

tailor solutions to local conditions
-
identify issues and potential mitigations in a watershed to improve water health
Grants are available for groups of landholders in these subcatchments:

- Omahaki
- Waitio​

Freshwater Plans for Otakarara and Tūtaekurī Subcatchments
​Our Otakarara and Tūtaekurī subcatchments have been developing individual Freshwater Plans using the NZFAP checklist as a guide. AgFirst Consulting has hosted 4x workshops with the opportunity for extra one-on-one consultation for each farm.
These workshops have been funded throught the B2R subcatchment fund.
